Whereas Joseph Swayne son of Nathaniel Swayne of Guilford County North Carolina & Jedidah Macy, Daughter of Jethro Macy of the same place having declared their intention of marriage with each other before ___ monthly meetings of the people called Quakers held at New Garden in the county of __ and nothing appearing to obstruct were left to their Liberty to accomplish their marriage according to___ order the which they did on the 9 g of year ____ 1780 at New Garden meeting in the presence of many witnesses of whose names are here incerted to wit
